Located in its own grounds, so virtually no traffic noise.
Rather shabby rooms, expelair in toilet and bath roon non-functioning. Overpriced at 67 euros, worth about 46 euros. Set menu chosen at the cheapest rate of 14.50 euros, provided good food but poor value in relation to quantity. Cheapest bottle of white wine 18 euros, produced a total bill of 124.60 euros which did not represent good value for money.

Receptionist was very helpful when we encountered a motoring problem in the morning
The restaurant was closed the evening we were there, (we were notified of this a week prior to arriving but we did specifically book this hotel as it had a restaurant on site), and the decor was very dated in the rooms.

The smell was strange, and the room was a little small.

Very pleasant hotel environment due to the gardens and friendly staff. The meal at the restaurant was also good.
We were told to contact the night porter on leaving because of an early start. However, the reception was locked and there was no bell to ring to alert him. We were unable to leave until we had located him to open the gate.

the room is stuff, the carpet smells mold, the whole place looks quite old fashion.
